Seminars for Diabetics
In our course we assist you to lead a self dependent, delightful life without late-time complications.
The courses are offered by the Department for Internal Medicine of the Marien-Krankenhaus, and are performed ambulatory from Monday to Friday. For working people and pupils we offer stationary weekend courses from Thursday to Sunday.
We offer seminars to the following kinds of therapy:
- "Diet"- or tablet treatment (ambulatory)
- Insulin therapy with 1 or 2 injections daily (ambulatory)
- Intensified (functional) insulin therapy with 3 and more injections daily (stationary for 5 days)
- Insulin infusion pump therapy (stationary for 5 days)
Topics: Insulin - tablets -shopping – restaurant training - exercise – health certificate for diabetics - nutrition - chiropody etc.
The costs for the ambulatory seminar of 105 € is usually paid by your health insurance, minus 25 € for lunch.
