Owner of Marien-Krankenhaus and of "Marienberg" is the Katholische Kirchengemeinde St. Laurentius (catholic parish of St. Laurentius) in Bergisch Gladbach, who founded the legal holding company "Marien-Krankenhaus gGmbH". This joint-stock company is registered at the Inferiour Court Bergisch Gladbach under HRB 46536.

The company general meeting elects the members of the managing board and the management, and decides about further developments and annual statements of accounts.

Managing Board

The managing board controls the management. It elects the management members, the members of the works council, and prescribes their standing orders. Furthermore, it is responsible for the control of the:
